Finishes the sign-in pages, the full-page states and the phone account sheet of the UI language v2 against the Figma draft (Desktop · Sign in / Request access / Request status, Screens · States, Phone · Account sheet, Components · Feedback & menus), light and dark, desktop and phone.

What changed

  • Auth panel (/login, /signup, /request, /request/{token}, /access-denied): the draft's panel on --bg-panel over one glow of the accent; mark or glyph, a 22px title and one line; the tabs as a segmented control under the head; recessed 36px fields that lift and ring on focus; a 44px primary; a hairline footer. /request is titled Request access. /signup has no frame and wears Request access's, keeping its numbered steps.
  • Request status: glyph, title and line per status (Waiting for an admin names the address it will mail), the request's own link cut in the middle with a Share button, and the keep-this-link footnote.
  • /access-denied: Not on the list yet, the signed-in account in one row with Sign out, then Name, Message, Email and Ask to join. The signed-out variant is a Status page.
  • Status (.empty-state, so every empty state): a recessed glyph tile with the draft's icons, a 22px title, one line, one small primary. The board's missing/denied outcomes gain a line on what to do and a button; /not-found and /Error use it too, and /not-found keeps a member's sidebar.
  • Deleted board: the board's name and the draft's banner (trash glyph, date, until, Go to your boards, Restore board). Short dates (Oct 1).
  • Loading: the board's skeleton (trays, cards as lines) instead of the spinner, in its own classes so tests and the entrance never count it as columns.
  • Reconnect: the draft's Connection pill at the top centre over the scrim, icon turning while it rejoins, a warning once it has failed, small secondary buttons. Still showModal() and the same script.
  • Account menu and sheet: the draft's Account menu wider (32px rows lit in the accent, Profile, Members, Theme, Language, Install | What's new, Report a problem | Sign out) and its Account sheet on a phone (38px corners, grabber, account heading, white groups of 46px rows, chevrons, Sign out in red). Profile is a row; language is a native select showing its value; Members counts the requests waiting (AccessRequestService.CountPendingAsync, re-read on RequestsChanged).
  • Copy from the draft entered LocaleService in both locales; dropped keys no longer shown.
  • Docs: ui.md, auth.md, access-requests.md, live-updates.md, boards-and-permissions.md, frontend.md (v2 status line), testing.md.

Judgement calls (draft vs rule)

  • A deleted board shows its name and the banner, not its dimmed cards: a delete hides a board from every read, and a moderation removal must not stay readable at its address.
  • /access-denied keeps the name field the draft drops: an admin approves a person (access-requests.md); the POST requires it.
  • The invite variant of /request keeps ExistingAccountNote, which the draft's Request access frame lacks (auth.md).
  • Retry appears only once the retries have run out, and stays Retry (not Reload): it tries the circuit first; Blazor.reconnect() racing the framework's own attempt is untested.
  • The status link uses ShareButton (share mark, sheet then clipboard) rather than a link glyph that only copies.
  • notfound.back now says Go to your boards: / is Home, not a board.
  • The account sheet is as tall as its rows, and holds the rows the draft's sheet leaves out (Install, What's new, Report a problem, the version footnote).
  • The loading skeleton has no real title: on the circuit's first render the board is not known yet.

How verified

  • tools/verify.sh (build + 600 unit tests) green.
  • Each state captured from a seeded dev app beside its Figma frame, light and dark, 1440×900 and 390×844, and the tablet menu.
  • Full Playwright suite on an isolated copy of the test stack, on this rebased commit: 161 passed, 0 failed (an earlier run before the rebase caught two board.spec selectors, fixed). Specs updated for the new markup (language select, Profile row, Members row, deleted outcome, identity row, reconnect pill) and extended (status page link and address, Members count, deleted board's name with no cards, /not-found with the sidebar, the pill at the top).

Finishes the sign-in pages, the full-page states and the phone account sheet of the UI language v2 against the Figma draft (Desktop · Sign in / Request access / Request status, Screens · States, Phone · Account sheet, Components · Feedback & menus), light and dark, desktop and phone. ## What changed - **Auth panel** (`/login`, `/signup`, `/request`, `/request/{token}`, `/access-denied`): the draft's panel on `--bg-panel` over one glow of the accent; mark or glyph, a 22px title and one line; the tabs as a segmented control under the head; recessed 36px fields that lift and ring on focus; a 44px primary; a hairline footer. `/request` is titled *Request access*. `/signup` has no frame and wears Request access's, keeping its numbered steps. - **Request status**: glyph, title and line per status (*Waiting for an admin* names the address it will mail), the request's own link cut in the middle with a Share button, and the keep-this-link footnote. - **/access-denied**: *Not on the list yet*, the signed-in account in one row with Sign out, then Name, Message, Email and *Ask to join*. The signed-out variant is a Status page. - **Status** (`.empty-state`, so every empty state): a recessed glyph tile with the draft's icons, a 22px title, one line, one small primary. The board's `missing`/`denied` outcomes gain a line on what to do and a button; `/not-found` and `/Error` use it too, and `/not-found` keeps a member's sidebar. - **Deleted board**: the board's name and the draft's banner (trash glyph, date, until, Go to your boards, Restore board). Short dates (`Oct 1`). - **Loading**: the board's skeleton (trays, cards as lines) instead of the spinner, in its own classes so tests and the entrance never count it as columns. - **Reconnect**: the draft's Connection pill at the top centre over the scrim, icon turning while it rejoins, a warning once it has failed, small secondary buttons. Still `showModal()` and the same script. - **Account menu and sheet**: the draft's Account menu wider (32px rows lit in the accent, Profile, Members, Theme, Language, Install | What's new, Report a problem | Sign out) and its Account sheet on a phone (38px corners, grabber, account heading, white groups of 46px rows, chevrons, Sign out in red). The auth pages are the draft's panel: a mark or glyph, a title and one line,
recessed fields, a 44px primary, on one glow of the accent. The request status
page shows its own link to keep and the address it will mail; /access-denied

✅ Verdict: approve — no blocking issues found.

I read this from the visible diff and spot-checked the symbols it depends on. The diff was truncated, so I did not see the e2e spec changes in full.

  • FormatDayInYear, AllowlistRequirement.PolicyName and IAllowlistService.IsAdmin all exist. IsAdmin is the super-admin check, which matches the Members row.
  • The .board-loading class is still used by other pages, so removing it from BoardPage leaves nothing dangling.
  • The deleted-board view shows the name and a banner, never the cards. The PR explains this against the draft, and it keeps a moderation removal unreadable at its address.
  • The status page shows the pending request's email to anyone holding the secret link. The docs call this out, and the link is already the only credential.
  • Minor: NavHeader.CountRequestsAsync never resets _pendingRequests if the user stops being an admin mid-circuit. That is harmless, because the row is hidden by the same policy.
  • I did not run the app or the tests.

✅ Verdict: approve — no blocking issues found.

Solid finish of the v2 states against the described Figma spec. I traced the functional side rather than the styling and found nothing blocking:

  • Removed LocaleService keys have no stragglers; every newly referenced key exists in both locales, and L.TCount("nav.requests.pending", …) matches the existing key.one convention.
  • CountPendingAsync is genuinely admin-gated (Allowlist.IsAdmin on the DID claim), RequestsChanged is subscribed and cleanly unsubscribed in DisposeAsync, and the accessor/OnRequestsChangedExternally handlers are static so the event can't fire on a disposed header.
  • ReconnectModal.razor.js is untouched; the CSS keeps the same state-class contract and matches real --scrim values. The scheduled showModal()/grace logic behaves as before.
  • NotFound renders NavHeader inline, consistent with how every other page composes it; the Router's NotFoundPage path renders it once, and the signed-out/not-allowlisted branch falls back to the headerless centered state.
  • DeletedBoardState keeps data-outcome="deleted", its restore flow, and the purge-date wording; FormatDayInYear was already there and handles a crossing year.
  • RequestStatus's display-link cut only touches tokens long enough, the email line is shown only to the secret link's holder, and ShareButton's use matches its Path/Title contract.

The judgement calls (deleted board's name without cards, keeping the name field on /access-denied, the single late Retry, notfound.back wording) are each documented in the PR and docs and hold up against the server-side rules behind them. Test selectors were updated to the new markup per the diff I could see, matching the claimed green run.

✅ Verdict: approve — no blocking issues found.

I read this from the visible diff only. It was truncated, so I did not see the e2e spec changes, and I did not run the app or the tests.

My earlier approval raised no blocking issues, so there was nothing to re-verify. Re-reading the diff, I found nothing that blocks merging.

  • Deleted board: it shows the name and a banner, never the cards, and the docs give the reason: a moderation removal must stay unreadable at its address.
  • Members count: CountPendingAsync runs only for a super-admin, via Allowlist.IsAdmin. It is re-read on RequestsChanged, and the handler is unsubscribed in Dispose.
  • Status page: it shows the pending request's email only to the holder of the secret link, which is already the only credential.
  • Docs: ui.md, auth.md, access-requests.md, live-updates.md, boards-and-permissions.md, frontend.md and testing.md are updated alongside the code. The changelog line is in Changelog.Unreleased, in both locales.

Two minor notes, neither blocking:

  • NavHeader.CountRequestsAsync never resets _pendingRequests if the user stops being an admin mid-circuit. The row is hidden by the same policy, so this has no visible effect.
  • DisplayLink in RequestStatus assumes a short token is shown whole. That is fine, because the share target carries the full path anyway.

✅ Verdict: approve — no blocking issues found.

Re-review after the previous approve: no blockers, and the two notes from earlier passes remain as before and are non-issues (the CountPendingAsync non-reset when a member stops being super-admin mid-circuit is masked by the same AuthorizeView policy hiding the row; the status page's email is shown only to the secret link's holder, which is the only credential anyway).

Spot-checked the load-bearing pieces: ReconnectModal.razor.js is unchanged and the new markup/CSS keep the same hide-until-state-class contract and the paused→resume-failed classList.replace path; the pill stays a modal <dialog> placed by margins with the scrim on ::backdrop. FormatDayInYear exists and gives the banner's short dates. AccessDenied keeps the form's antiforgery token, honeypot, hidden handle/kind, and the required name the draft drops. Removed locale keys have no stragglers, and the skeleton's role="status" uses the still-existing board.loading key. Test selectors match the new markup per the visible diffs.

The judgement calls (deleted board showing its name and banner but never cards, keeping the name field on /access-denied, the single late Retry, notfound.back wording, ShareButton for the status link) are each documented with the server-side rule behind them and hold up. Good to merge.
