Centre the search box on the header row

The box was the middle item of a flex row, not the middle of it: the two
sides are never the same width, so it sat 56px right of centre at 1440
and 109px left of it at 1100, drifting with the length of the board's
name — the one thing in the header the box is not about.

Above 960px both sides now take flex: 1 1 0, so they split the row's
leftover in half and the item between the halves lands on the middle.
The lead gets a 13rem floor with it: a basis of 0 leaves it none of its
own, and without one the account side's floor ate the row at 960 and
clipped the wordmark mid-letter.

search.spec.js pins both, on the fixture it already has open — centred
within 2px at 1440, and at 960 the lead keeps its floor and the row does
not overflow. No changelog line: the box itself has not shipped yet.

✅ Verdict: approve — no blocking issues found.

Correctly centers the search box on the header row using the standard flex: 1 1 0 symmetric-split trick, scoped to @media (min-width: 960px). Verified:

  • .nav-lead and .board-user get flex: 1 1 0, so with .nav-search at a fixed flex: 0 1 26rem basis, leftover row space splits evenly, landing the search box on the true middle rather than the midpoint of two unequal sides.
  • min-width: 13rem on .nav-lead (= 208px, matches the e2e assertion, no root font-size override found) correctly guards against the wordmark being clipped when the account side's content floor wins.
  • No conflicting rule: the only other @media (min-width: 960px) block in the file targets .column, not .nav-lead/.board-user, and it's declared later, so no accidental override either way.
  • docs/search.md and the in-CSS comments were updated together consistent with the repo's documentation convention, and the reasoning in both matches what the CSS actually does.
  • The new e2e assertions (centre-of-row check at 1440px, floor + no-overflow check at 960px) are meaningful and test real layout behavior rather than implementation details.

No correctness, security, or omission issues found.

✅ **Verdict: approve** — no blocking issues found. Correctly centers the search box on the header row using the standard `flex: 1 1 0` symmetric-split trick, scoped to `@media (min-width: 960px)`. Verified: - `.nav-lead` and `.board-user` get `flex: 1 1 0`, so with `.nav-search` at a fixed `flex: 0 1 26rem` basis, leftover row space splits evenly, landing the search box on the true middle rather than the midpoint of two unequal sides. - `min-width: 13rem` on `.nav-lead` (= 208px, matches the e2e assertion, no root font-size override found) correctly guards against the wordmark being clipped when the account side's content floor wins. - No conflicting rule: the only other `@media (min-width: 960px)` block in the file targets `.column`, not `.nav-lead`/`.board-user`, and it's declared later, so no accidental override either way. - `docs/search.md` and the in-CSS comments were updated together consistent with the repo's documentation convention, and the reasoning in both matches what the CSS actually does. - The new e2e assertions (centre-of-row check at 1440px, floor + no-overflow check at 960px) are meaningful and test real layout behavior rather than implementation details.
