Part of the v0.7.0 update cycle (wave 8). Mechanical passes, done last so their wide diffs don't conflict with feature work.

  • ConfigureAwait(false) on every await in the library projects (5 of about 490 today), enforced with CA2007 for src/ (not tests or samples). This matters for Blazor Server, WPF and MAUI hosts.

  • Comment compaction:

    • collapse three-line /// <summary> blocks that fit on one line;
    • one-line section dividers;
    • drop <param> tags that only restate the name (with NoWarn CS1573 if needed);
    • drop narration of obvious code and history-style comments.

    Keep all spec, security and concurrency rationale.

  • Public API tracking: add Microsoft.CodeAnalysis.PublicApiAnalyzers to every packable project, with PublicAPI.Shipped.txt as the v0.7.0 baseline, so every future break shows up in review.

  • Remove unnecessary usings repo-wide.
